Gristwood and Toms sets the standard for success

Gristwood and Toms has once again proved its excellence in safety and business performance after passing a rigorous independent assessment and accreditation process.

After qualifying as an Altius Assured Vendor, the national tree services company can now forge links with blue chip businesses like Selfridges, Morrisons, Airbus, Bellrock FM, Punch Taverns, Arcadia Group, Servest and Travelodge.

Gary Plant, Managing Director of award winning Altius, said:  “Gristwood and Toms has demonstrated to our expert assessors that it’s a top supplier. This provides assurance that it has all the necessary health and safety systems, financial strength, insurance coverage, and other requirements in place to be a competent supplier to large corporate customers. We are delighted to welcome them as one of our assured vendors.”

Darren Kilby, Head of Sales at Gristwood and Toms, said: “Achieving this recognised standard proves our high level of competency and compliance. It will enable us to compete nationally for major contracts and boost our reputation as a quality supplier. The major corporate businesses who are partnered with Altius can have confidence in our abilities, and it gives us a golden opportunity to increase our sales.”

This award follows multiple contract wins for Gristwood and Toms in recent months, with new clients including Affinity Sutton, London Borough of Barnet, Salford City Council and Historic Royal Palaces.
